Team Leader for Adult Services
The Individual and Family Care Services in Nordmaling Municipality consists of 35 employees and has also been responsible for operations in Bjurholm Municipality since the beginning of the year.
The operations are divided into five areas (VO): Children, Youth & Family, Adults, Open Care, Assistance & Function, and Management & Support.
We work based on our quality and management system "The House," which is built on science and proven experience. Our operations are characterized by a strength-based approach where we focus on people's inherent resources and abilities. Through shared decision-making, we create conditions for clients to be active co-creators in their own change process.
We are now looking for a Team Leader for Adult Services. Currently, Adult Services consists of seven social workers who handle cases related to financial assistance, assistance related to harmful use and dependency, housing support, social psychiatry, and budget and debt counseling.

The Role and Responsibilities
As a team leader with us, you will play a key role in leading and developing social work. You will be an important link between the operations manager and caseworkers, where your engagement and expertise contribute to creating a safe and developing work environment.
In the role of team leader, you will:
- Lead and distribute work within the group with a focus on legal security and quality
- Develop working methods, approaches, and the work environment together with managers and caseworkers
- Promote shared decision-making in client work
- Ensure quality in investigations and documentation
- Provide coaching support in complex cases
- Collaborate with internal and external actors
- Drive development work and environmental monitoring
- Be responsible for e-services and be a super user in our operational system
Your Profile
The requirements we have for working as a team leader in social services are that you have a degree in social work. You have experience working with social services' authority, knowledge of and interest in evidence-based practice, and you are secure in your professional role with good knowledge of social services legislation.
A driving license (B) is also a requirement.
It is an advantage if you have training in ASI, MI, and FREDA, experience working with violence in close relationships, and/or in-depth experience working with adult cases and/or financial assistance.

- PROBLEM-SOLVING ANALYTICAL SKILLS: It is important that you can identify often complex challenges/questions and analyze situations to find sustainable solutions.

Nordmaling has an excellent location, right by the coast, between Umeå and Örnsköldsvik with the E4 and Botniabanan nearby. Work as Emergency Service Personnel on Standby
