The client is a 36-year-old man who sees life from the bright side! Your task is to assist him in everyday life, that is, to support him in what he can do and help him with what he cannot. You will be part of a team of assistants whose job is to bridge difficulties and boost his abilities. Together, you are the primary means of support for the client to live his own life based on the conditions he has - on his own terms, with self-determination as the guiding principle.

His disability means that he communicates in a different way – you are his interpreter to the outside world, and therefore you must have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

The assistance is provided around the clock, with sleeping on-call duty in the client's home. You will accompany him in everything that happens in life, and your task is to assist him wherever he is – at home, at work, or during leisure activities. At certain hours, two assistants work simultaneously, for example during outings and activities outside the home.

No physically demanding tasks are involved, your age or gender does not matter. You do not need any prior knowledge, but experience in personal assistance and/or autism is of course an advantage.

A driver's license is a requirement since an important task is to drive the client's car. A snowmobile driving license is not a requirement but is a plus.

The position is a part-time employment as needed with immediate start. However, we would like you to have the opportunity to work more during the summer when regular assistants are on vacation! Before that, you will receive 40 hours of paid introduction and take an online training course for new employees.
