Treatment Pedagogue at SiS LVM Home Renforsen

SiS LVM Home Renforsen is seeking two fixed-term positions as treatment pedagogues. We are a small institution located in Vindeln, about 60 km from Umeå, where we provide care for women under LVM. The facility has two departments, a locked department with 11 places and an open department with 10 places. There is beautiful nature within walking distance.

Job Description

Do you want to help create life-changing opportunities for vulnerable individuals? Then the job as a treatment pedagogue at SiS LVM Home Renforsen is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment pedagogue, you will work in a team with other treatment pedagogues, treatment assistants, and treatment coordinators, and together you will be responsible for ensuring that the clients living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. We often meet people in crisis, which means you will work with qualified care and motivational efforts, as well as providing daily support. With your knowledge in care and treatment work, you will actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work, contributing to legal security, planning, and follow-up of our operations. You will help maintain safety according to our routines and assist in daily tasks such as cleaning and cooking. This is a job for those who see a positive challenge in working with vulnerable individuals in difficult life situations. The job can be demanding but is also stimulating, joyful, and varied.

Working hours are according to a schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. As a new employee, you will undergo a local introduction and training at Renforsen.

Qualifications

To succeed in your role, you should have a solid positive view of people. You are motivated to help individuals in vulnerable situations and share SiS's core values of being a place for change. Furthermore, you have a good ability to create engagement and participation among our clients. You are self-assured and can easily build relationships with clients as well as with other staff members. You possess good communication skills and can remain calm even in stressful situations. You find it easy to collaborate with others and can handle conflicts constructively.

You should also have:

• A degree from a 2-year post-secondary education at a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) focused on social/pedagogical treatment work or a degree from a university that we consider equivalent
• A valid driver's license (B)
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

Experience working with individuals in vulnerable situations, such as in psychiatry, LSS, or HVB homes, is an advantage for this position.

Employment:

We are looking for two fixed-term positions as treatment pedagogues. The positions are full-time temporary contracts until 2025-08-31. Start date by agreement.
