YOUR NEW JOB

As a lifeguard, you are an important part of the team and contribute to ensuring that our guests feel welcome and have a safe and pleasant experience in the swimming hall. You will work alongside other staff at the reception, in the café, and with pool supervision. The role also includes cleaning duties, where you help keep the facility clean, fresh, and pleasant for all visitors.

The position is a part-time job where you work as needed, mainly during evenings and weekends. Shifts are primarily scheduled for Fridays and Sundays, but some evening shifts on weekdays may also occur. The employment is seasonal, mainly during the period from October to April.

YOUR COMPETENCE

We are looking for someone with a service-oriented approach and a genuine interest in providing our guests with a positive experience during their visit. It is a plus if you have previously worked in a swimming hall or with similar tasks. It is also advantageous if you have training in CPR/AED and first aid.

We are looking for a confident, stable, and mature person who can handle both everyday tasks and more demanding situations in a professional manner. You need to have good collaboration skills while also being able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.

We place great importance on the personal competencies and abilities described above.

REQUIREMENTS

Swimming ability is a requirement for the position, and during the recruitment process, you will undergo a practical test consisting of swimming 200m, including 50 meters on your back, as well as performing a practical task in pool rescue.

For this position, you must present a valid extract from the Police's criminal record before employment.

YOUR NEW WORKPLACE

Vindeln's swimming hall is located by Renforsskolan and has been newly renovated. The swimming hall is small, but we offer a wide range for children and adults. The pool is 25 m long with four lanes. We conduct swimming lessons and water aerobics, among other activities. A simple café is also available.
