The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic in Västernorrland is a regional clinic with approximately 120 employees. The outpatient services are located in Örnsköldsvik, Sollefteå, Härnösand, Sundsvall, and Ånge. The clinic has a long tradition of a systemic approach in meeting children, adolescents, and their families. We use various treatment methods, both individually and in groups, based on systemic, psychodynamic, and cognitive perspectives.

We are now looking for a Psychologist for BUP in Härnösand for a 1-year temporary position, starting as soon as possible or by agreement. We are looking for someone interested in working with children/adolescents and families from a child psychiatric perspective, where the patient's individual needs are at the center. The clinic employs psychologists, social workers, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries.

Job Responsibilities

As a psychologist at BUP, you will work with qualified assessment, investigation, and treatment both individually and in teams. Your tasks will also include consultations and networking, as well as participation in the development of the clinic's activities, educational initiatives, and method development. Working as a psychologist within BUP is a challenging, developing, and exciting job. High demands are placed on knowledge regarding interactions and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed psychologist
• Is fluent in Swedish with good knowledge of English
• Has a valid driver's license (B)

It is advantageous if you

• Have previous experience in psychiatric work
• Have training in ADI-R and ADOS and/or other testing methods as it is part of the investigative work in the position
• Have experience and knowledge of child and adolescent development
• Have additional language skills
