The Regional Healthcare for Somatics coordinates specialized somatic care in Region Västernorrland. The somatic area consists of eleven regional healthcare operations. These operations are conducted at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, as well as several clinics located in various towns in the county. The area has approximately 2400 employees.

The Orthopedic Regional Operation is part of the Regional Healthcare for Somatics and conducts both planned and emergency activities focused on orthopedic injuries and diseases.

We are now looking for a licensed junior doctor for the Orthopedic Regional Operation based in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a full-time temporary position for six months with good opportunities for further ST positions, starting in the fall/summer or by agreement.

Job Responsibilities

The position involves varied work in the ward, outpatient clinic, surgery, emergency department, and on-call duties. You will receive supervision during your employment, allowing you to credit this towards a future ST in orthopedics. We offer varied work and collaboration between the county's hospitals.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed doctor authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Has an interest in orthopedics.
