We are looking for someone who wants to combine specialist and primary care, distributed 50/50, where you will be part of a team with colleagues within the profession close at hand. The position is based at Sollefteå Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to work in the ward, outpatient work, and meet primary care patients. The primary care consists of 5 health centers where doctors, medical secretaries, clerks, district nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, and rehabilitation coordinators work. The workplace offers guidance, education, and development opportunities.

The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist in primary care, you will assess, treat, support, and follow up with patients regarding their ability to perform daily activities within the framework of primary care's mission. The tasks also include trial and prescription of technical aids, providing ergonomic advice, and supporting patients in using new strategies to improve their daily lives. In both primary and specialist care, you will work both independently and as part of a team with other professionals to offer the best possible care solutions. In the ward, assessments of cognition and activity ability are included. We work to promote activity ability or find compensatory solutions with aids. Patients of various ages with newly acquired illnesses or injuries (preferably neurological diseases) come to the specialist care's day rehabilitation.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed occupational therapist
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Have work experience from specialist and primary care
• Have basic knowledge of English
