The Operations unit in Sollefteå is an elective surgical department with some acute orthopedic focus. We are 25 employees consisting of surgical nurses, anesthetic nurses, and nursing assistants working in surgical teams. We are a small, well-functioning unit with a tailored work schedule. We offer our new hires a solid and interesting onboarding.

We are now looking for a nursing assistant for the Operations department in Sollefteå! The employment is a temporary position from 2025-04-01 to 2026-04-01.

Job Responsibilities

The work as a nursing assistant in the operating department involves assisting during surgeries and helping the surgical nurse with preparing instruments, setting up, positioning the patient, monitoring the operating room, and being available during anesthesia induction and awakening of patients.

The work is very varied, and you must be prepared to quickly switch to other tasks. Working hours are scheduled during the day from Monday to Friday, and on-call duty may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Has a complete nursing assistant education
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
