The Cardiology Clinic in Sundsvall consists of a complete cardiology operation. The care department in Sundsvall includes 28 heart monitoring places, consisting of 7 cardiac intensive care places and 21 general cardiology care places. The clinic has a complete clinical physiology section staffed by its own personnel and clinical physiologists in close collaboration with the clinics.

We at the Cardiology Clinic are now looking for a specialist physician to join our team. The cardiologist participates in several clinical trials with experienced research nurses. Several doctoral projects are also underway in collaboration with Norrland University Hospital. In addition to a PCI on-call service, there is also a separate cardiology backup on-call line available 24/7.

The clinic's goal, alongside conducting core operations, is to create a pleasant working environment for both younger and older colleagues. We are committed to fostering a teaching-friendly work climate where initiatives for development and improvement are welcomed and encouraged.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

Job Responsibilities

Outpatient and ward work within cardiology. Work in HIA. Work as a day backup where referral assessment and consultations are included. Elective activities including, among other things, electrical conversions and, depending on experience, PM surgeries and coronary angiography/PCI. On-call work in the form of rounds on weekends or backup (weekday nights and weekends).

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a specialist physician in cardiology
• Has experience working as a physician in Sweden
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you

• Have experience in research or teaching
• Are a specialist physician in internal medicine
• Have experience in change and development work
• Have experience working with advanced heart failure, HIA care, or coronary angiography
