Account Manager at Ooni

Ooni, the innovative company behind the world-leading pizza ovens, is rapidly growing and is now looking for a driven Account Manager to support their expansion in the Nordic market. ABOUT THE POSITION

From its humble beginnings as a team of two in 2012, they have now grown to over 300 talented and creative pizza enthusiasts worldwide. They are in a very exciting growth phase, and the Nordic market with its fantastic retail and passion for good food is crucial. As part of their expansion, we are now looking for a driven Account Manager who can support their strategy and be part of the journey to strengthen their market-leading position for pizza ovens in the Nordics.

This role is remote-based, you will be located in Gothenburg and spend up to 50% of your time traveling and the rest working from home. The percentage of travel may vary depending on the season. Training will be held in Scotland over two full days with the HR team to ensure the best possible start and conditions for success moving forward.

This is a full-time position through Academic Work, where you will initially work as a consultant through us but with the ambition for a long-term employment directly with the client.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • Build and nurture relationships with retailers: Identify, secure, and develop long-term and reliable business relationships with retailers in the Nordics, both physically and digitally
  • Optimize collaborations: This is a central part of the role. Strive to maximize every business opportunity and customer partnership. You will be responsible for proposing and implementing growth strategies at the customer level
  • Forecasting and goal setting: Work with customers to develop monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and ensure they are met
  • Support Key Account Manager: Assist in managing key accounts and ensuring good relationships and growth
  • Events and training: Plan and conduct customer meetings, demonstration days, and staff training

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Holds a driver's license and has a personal car
  • Has completed secondary education
  • Has previous work experience in sales
  • Is computer literate, preferably in Excel, Slack, Zoom, or CRM systems
  • Is willing to travel regularly for work within the Nordics
  • Can communicate fluently, both spoken and written, in Swedish and English, as required in daily tasks
  • Is genuinely interested in cooking and Ooni's products

It is a merit if you

  • Have experience in selling consumer products within the wholesale sector
  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Master any of the other Nordic languages
