About the position

We are looking for a Buyer for our customer, a successful and fast-growing electric car company. This position is located in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

As an Indirect Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the client procures and delivers solutions while embracing the energy and excitement of constant change.

Your Responsibilities:

• Navigate Complexity with Confidence: Manage procurement activities with creativity and structure, even when priorities shift, or processes evolve.
• Lead with Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and identify innovative and efficient ways to meet them.
• Act with Agility: Balance operational support with strategic procurement, adapting to changes in priorities, methods, or goals.
• Drive Procurement Success: Build supplier relationships and negotiate agreements that reflect our client’s standards and vision.
• Create and Improve: Seize opportunities to streamline processes, introduce new ideas, and challenge the status quo.

Qualifications:

• Education in business administration, finance, or procurement
• Experience in procurement or purchasing with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to identify opportunities
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills
• Experience working in a global environment with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and effectively resolve challenges
• Stakeholder management: Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, understand their needs, and guide purchasing decisions
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Proficiency in Swedish and other European languages is an advantage
• Experience with tools such as SRM, Fieldglass, or Workday

Contract type and hours

Full-time consulting assignment for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Start according to agreement.
