IES Borås is a school for grades 4-9. We are a bilingual school following the Swedish curriculum.

We are now looking for a certified primary school teacher with qualifications in several subjects such as Swedish, SVA, mathematics, or other subjects for grades 4-6 ahead of the school start in autumn 2026. The position includes shared mentorship. Qualifications in other subjects are advantageous. You have a positive view of people and the ability to build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. As a teacher with us, you find it enjoyable, stimulating, and rewarding to teach students from various countries and provide each student with the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions and abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct lessons
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate documentation
• Mentorship for students in one of the classes you teach
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school's community

Qualifications:

• Teaching certification
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet students' diverse needs
• Commitment to continuous professional development and learning
