Your new role

We are now looking for an experienced Operational IT Contract Manager (or IT Agreement Controller, as it is referred to internally by the client) for our government client, where you will play a key role in strengthening governance, quality, and long-term efforts in managing IT agreements.

You will step into a central function within the IT department and become an important part of the staff unit. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence how agreements are monitored, developed, and create value – from signing to renewal and strategic supplier management.

The role is operational and close to the business. You will work in a complex IT environment with operations and infrastructure where many systems, services, and suppliers interact. This requires both a holistic perspective and the ability to dive into details.

You will be a reliable and knowledgeable partner to both the business, IT, and suppliers – someone who creates clarity, strengthens control, and contributes to smarter working methods.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and monitoring IT agreements throughout the entire contract lifecycle

• Ensuring contract compliance and proactively identifying risks, deviations, and areas for improvement

• Supporting and guiding buyers and managers in their responsibilities for supplier management

• Analyzing the utilization of contracted services and contributing to increased cost awareness and control

• Initiating and driving improvements in contract management and supplier collaboration

Our client is a government agency that manages the entire tax administration area, from annual taxation and company registration to value-added tax and employer contributions.

Scope of the assignment: Full-time, 100% Employment type: Fixed-term employment as a consultant via JobBusters. Work model: Hybrid with the possibility to work 2 days remotely. Start: As agreed End: 2028-03-31, with an option for extension of 1+1 year. • At least 4 years of current work experience in contract management regarding IT agreements

• At least 2 years of current experience in ensuring contract compliance for IT agreements within operations and infrastructure

• Experience in procurement

• Experience in license management

• Experience in collaboration and monitoring of external suppliers

• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written
