In Dalarna, urological care is provided at the surgical clinics at Falu and Mora hospitals, as well as at a contracted urology clinic in Borlänge. There is close collaboration between the three units, which have somewhat different assignments and areas of expertise. Your main place of work will be in Falun, but certain parts of the ST training will take place in Mora and Borlänge.

ST Physician, Surgery Falun Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for an ST physician in urology with a primary placement at Falu hospital. We are looking for someone with a solid interest in urology as a specialty and who is also interested in working in a team that is under development.

Currently, the urology section in Falun consists of 3 senior physicians, 1 specialist, and 4 ST physicians. The work also includes on-call duties in the emergency department as a surgical on-call physician. Supervision and teaching of AT physicians and other doctors in training, other staff categories, and students are included. As a certified specialist in urology in Dalarna, there is an opportunity to work either with a focus on outpatient urology or inpatient urology.

Requirements:

• Swedish medical license is required.

Meritorious:

• Completed AT training and/or a temporary position at the surgical clinic at Falu hospital is an asset.
