Welcome to us

Postiljonen is located in Svedmyra in southern Stockholm with the forest as a neighbor. Beautiful walking paths, natural greenery, and old villas are right around the corner. Close to both the subway and bus. We have 57 places focusing on somatic care, dementia, and short-term/relief care departments with a dementia focus.

Your role

As a nursing staff, you will provide individual care and support to all residents at Postiljonen. You will help, support, and work person-centered with a focus on the strengths of each individual. Meaningfulness and respect for personal integrity and participation are fundamental cornerstones of our work.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for you who are a nursing assistant or have experience in elderly care. You must master the Swedish language fluently in both speech and writing and have computer skills. You should be able to work continuously for at least 4 weeks and preferably a little longer. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities, and we strive for a balanced gender distribution in our staff group. The employment is scheduled and involves day, evening, and weekend shifts. The City of Stockholm works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's skills and thus counteracting discrimination.

To work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes for the City of Stockholm, you must provide an extract from the criminal record. The extract must not be older than six months from the date of issue.
