PTP Psychologist at Hamnen, Gustavsberg Health Center
We are looking for a PTP psychologist who wants to work clinically with children and adolescents at the Hamnen reception at Gustavsberg Health Center.
At Gustavsberg Health Center (GVC), there are currently 15 psychologists, 2 social workers, and 4 PTP psychologists working to provide and develop first-line psychiatry for children, adolescents, and adults. GVC has been a leader in developing work on mental health in primary care for many years and continuously works on development issues.
The Hamnen reception is part of the psychosocial team at the health center and is a collaboration between Gustavsberg Health Center and Värmdö Municipality. Currently, four psychologists and four social workers work at Hamnen. We work with children, adolescents, and families aged 0-17 within the framework of the expanded efforts of the general practitioner’s services for children and youth. Patients with very varying problems and levels of functioning come to Hamnen. Our mission is to conduct qualified assessments, offer treatment for mild to moderate mental health issues, and refer and redirect cases that can be better assisted, supported, or treated by other services.
Gustavsberg Health Center is beautifully located with a view of the water in Gustavsberg harbor. You can easily reach the health center by bus, which departs regularly from Slussen and takes just under 25 minutes.
Job Responsibilities:
Your primary tasks will be patient-oriented. The clinical work includes making assessments with validated instruments, assessing care levels, referrals, psychoeducational work, CBT treatment individually or in groups, and careful follow-up and evaluation of treatment contacts. The tasks also include collaboration with, among others, BUP, schools, social services, habilitation, and pediatric outpatient clinics.
As a PTP psychologist, you will be part of the regional PTP program and the local program for PTP psychologists in primary care in Region Stockholm.
Employment Form:
The position is a fixed-term employment of 12 months, starting from the date of commencement. Start date according to agreement in August/September 2026.
Qualifications:
Graduated psychologist with a focus on CBT. We prefer that you have experience working with children, adolescents, and their parents. Since the goal of the operation is to provide good care and promote research and development, we also appreciate an interest in these areas.
Personal Qualities:
We are looking for someone who is fundamentally interested in working with children, adolescents, and parents in primary care and who enjoys collaborating in a team but can also work independently.
You are generally interested in the development of children and young people and in primary care's work regarding mental health. You need to be communicative and willing to collaborate in teams as well as with other professional groups and services. We also appreciate that you enjoy working systematically with the evaluation of treatment. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and good collaboration skills.
We continuously review applications and invite candidates for interviews.
Warm welcome to submit your application! The position will be filled provided it is not needed for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.
