With us, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop in your role and collaborate with your colleagues across departmental boundaries. Being part of the energy sector is fantastic! We have several exciting projects underway, and our employees are the key to our success. We take responsibility for the future and want to contribute to a sustainable and attractive development in Dalarna.

Hedemora Energi

About the position

As an investigator, you will be a significant part of the Water and Recycling department. Here, you will work alongside planners and engineers and have a broad role that spans everything from planning and fee issues to regulations, easement agreements, service areas, new connections, and various types of customer matters. You contribute to developing both the business and the community infrastructure that people in Hedemora use every day. In addition to your work with water and wastewater, once you are comfortable in your role, you will also take on investigations related to waste. If you already have knowledge in the area, it is an advantage, but otherwise, you will have the opportunity to grow into the tasks with support from experienced colleagues.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in legal and technical issues within water and wastewater, and preferably also in waste, who enjoys explaining regulations clearly and pedagogically in dialogue with customers and other stakeholders. You like to work in a structured manner and solve problems, have a knack for seeing the big picture, and are eager to take responsibility for driving your issues forward. You have a relevant higher education degree, for example in water, environment, urban planning, water technology, or another technical field that we consider equivalent. Experience from a municipality or municipal company is an advantage, as is knowledge of GIS, CAD, or waste legislation.

We offer

With us, you will have a developing role where you can make an impact, and no day is the same. You will be part of an engaged team and a workplace where we value competence, collaboration, and pride in the work we do for the benefit of society.
