We at Manpower are now looking for more engaged concrete workers who want to grow together with Dala Cement.

Location: Björbo

This is a long-term opportunity where you start with Manpower, and for the right person, there are excellent chances for a takeover and permanent employment at Dala Cement.

Start immediately for some and in April for others.

About the role

As a concrete worker, you will work physically and practically in concrete production. The tasks are varied and require both precision and a willingness to learn the process. You will work at form tables where you move up and down many times a day, and several tasks are performed kneeling - therefore, it is important that you enjoy an active and physical job.

Experience is an advantage, but attitude is the most important. Dala Cement is looking for individuals who truly want to learn the trade and develop in production.

Responsibilities

• Work at form tables, including forming and stripping
• Reinforcement and preparation of molds
• Pouring and processing concrete
• Support colleagues in other production tasks
• Contribute to order and safety in the work area

Working hours

You will start during the day: 07:00 - 16:00

However, you must be able to work other hours as shifts may change, for example, 05:00 - 14:00, 06:00 - 15:00, and possibly other future hours. Flexibility is therefore important.

Requirements

• Driver's license & access to a car
• Good physical condition and willingness to work practically
• Interest in learning the concrete process in depth
• Ability to work in a team and contribute to a good work environment

Meritorious

• Forklift license
• Overhead crane license
• Experience in similar work, industry, or construction (meritorious, but not decisive - the right attitude weighs heavier)

Offer

Formally, employment with us is based on the same laws and regulations as in the rest of the labor market. We have a collective agreement, with everything it entails regarding insurance, occupational pension, and union relations. What differs is that you are employed by us but work on various assignments for our clients.

Of course, you have a consultant manager who is available to you throughout your employment period and is responsible for your assignment, ensuring that you enjoy your workplace and develop in your professional role.
