About the role / position Infrakraft is seeking a Contract Engineer who enjoys working in a varied role with a lot of responsibility! As a contract engineer with us, you will work closely with the site manager in production and provide support throughout the entire project process - from bidding to final documentation.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

  • Technical support in projects

  • Contract administration

  • Financial monitoring and forecasting

  • Cost estimation and scheduling

  • Purchasing and project management

  • Quality, Environment, and Work Environment (KMA) issues

  • Participation in construction and production meetings

  • Client contact and project closure

  • Other administration

You will have a central role in the project and will influence both technical solutions and the project's financial results.

We are looking for someone who We believe you are confident in your role and enjoy taking responsibility. You are solution-oriented and have a business-minded approach to your work. You like to collaborate but are also self-driven when needed.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have some form of technical education, such as a civil or engineering degree, or equivalent experience. You have experience in the role or a similar one in the railway industry. Previous experience as a contract/project engineer, site manager, or bid engineer is an advantage. Experience in project management, construction law, railway projects, and digital tools for financial monitoring is desirable.

You should be proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (B) is required. Flexibility is important as overnight stays in other locations are common in our operations.
