We are now looking for an HVAC technician/plumber for Operations & Property within the Service Administration of Falu Municipality. Here you will work with operations, maintenance, and service in the municipality's properties – schools, preschools, housing, and other important activities.

The Service Administration, which includes Operations & Property, is Falu Municipality's provider of internal service and ancillary services according to an FM concept. The mission is to support the municipality's various activities by providing clean, functional, and suitable premises, delicious and nutritious meals, vehicles, and transportation services along with several ancillary services. The mission also includes contributing to the efficiency work of the administrations by offering high-quality service at competitive prices.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of HVAC technician, you will work alongside our operations and property technicians responsible for the operation, maintenance, supervision, and care of the municipality's properties. In consultation with your colleagues, you will perform service, troubleshooting, and repairs of installations related to plumbing, heating, water/sanitation, and ventilation.

The work includes HVAC tasks such as boilers, heat pumps, ventilation, appliances, toilets, and faucets. Issues come in through fault reports from our tenants in the property system or as assignments from the organization itself. The work also includes self-checks as well as planned supervision and maintenance.

You will manage your cases in a case management system, and other tasks may include material purchases, time reporting, and invoicing. The role is characterized by a high degree of service, with a focus on delivering good and sustainable solutions. The position offers a broad and varied role where you can fully utilize your experience and skills.

Qualifications

For the role, you are required to have:

• Industry certification as an HVAC technician
• Industry license for Safe Water
• Several years of work experience as an HVAC technician
• Good digital skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Driver's license B

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience with electrical work and control systems in properties
• Vocational training at the post-secondary level
• Electrical authorization (B – limited authorization)

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time employment. Start date according to agreement. As an employee in operations, you may be part of the on-call organization.
