RESPONSIBILITIES

As a project manager with us, you will drive construction and renovation projects in a municipal environment from the early stages all the way to completion and handover to the operations. The role is broad and varied, combining project management with administration, coordination, finance, and analysis.

You will lead and coordinate construction and property projects throughout the entire process from needs analysis and feasibility study to final inspection and handover. The assignment includes preparing decision-making documents, writing reports and analyses related to needs, finances, time, and implementation. You will be responsible for the projects' budgets, forecasts, follow-ups, and timelines, as well as coordinating and following up on consultants and contractors.

Furthermore, you will handle regulatory contacts and ensure that laws, regulations, and municipal guidelines are followed. You will participate in and lead construction, project, and commissioning meetings and actively work with sustainability, reduced climate impact, and long-term solutions both in projects and in our existing property portfolio. The role also includes ensuring occupational safety responsibilities, for example through assignments as BAS-P and/or BAS-U.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a university degree in construction, property management, engineering, or urban planning, or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience leading construction projects and are comfortable working with budgets, follow-ups, and documentation. You have a good understanding of the relationship between finances, time, and quality in projects. You also have good computer skills, very good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, and a B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in public operations. Experience in sustainable procurement, climate calculations, or resource-efficient construction is also a plus. If you have worked in the role of BAS P or BAS U, we consider it valuable.

To succeed in the role, you need to be structured and have good planning skills. You prioritize wisely, see risks in time, and drive the work forward with clear results orientation. You have a strong problem-solving ability and enjoy analyzing, investigating, and finding feasible solutions. As a person, you are collaborative and relationship-building. You communicate clearly, create trust, and contribute to a positive team spirit.
