Job Description

AFRY is one of the leading players in the construction sector in the Nordics, and thanks to our unique breadth, we are proud to deliver the infrastructure solutions of the future together with our colleagues from other technical areas.

We lead projects through the entire process, from project development to planning, through the construction phase and into operation. We have assignments with private clients such as contractors, developers, and industrial companies, as well as with the Transport Administration and municipalities. This provides a broad project portfolio where, thanks to the knowledge and experience of our employees, we can offer support in various projects, from large infrastructure projects to smaller development projects in municipalities.

We are now looking for more construction/project managers in civil engineering for our offices in Borlänge, Falun, Gävle, Sundsvall, Örnsköldsvik, Umeå, Skellefteå, and Luleå!

In the role of construction/project manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and following up on projects during the various stages of the construction process. There are often several different components spanning many different areas of expertise that need to be coordinated. You will steer the joint work towards the project's overall goals. In our assignments, we work in teams to develop each other's skills, where junior consultants work alongside more experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least five years of experience in construction/project management within road and civil engineering, or alternatively work as a site manager or construction manager within civil engineering contracting. You are passionate about project management and want to continue developing in our various exciting projects. Perhaps you have previously worked at another consulting firm or with one of the contractors in the industry.

In terms of education, you are likely a university graduate or civil engineer or have equivalent professional experience.

You must be fluent in Swedish both verbally and in writing.

Your personality is important to us! We believe that your level of ambition and interest in development characterize you as a person. We also believe that you can be described as an engaged team player. Of course, you are results-oriented and have an eye for business. Furthermore, we see that you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.
