Tillväxtverket has the government’s assignment to manage transport subsidies. The transport subsidy can be applied for by companies that refine products in the four northernmost counties. The transport subsidy reduces their cost disadvantages and thus strengthens the competitiveness of the companies. In this way, the transport subsidy also contributes to regional development.

About the position

We are now looking for a business administrator who wants to work with regional policy business support. The work primarily involves preparing and deciding on applications for transport subsidies. The job includes company visits and other contacts with both businesses and authorities. The work is performed independently but in close collaboration with the rest of the transport subsidy team and other parts of the authority. In the long term, other tasks at Tillväxtverket may also occur, e.g., follow-up and evaluation work as well as participating in various collaboration groups within Tillväxtverket.

Your place of work will be Arjeplog and travel is included in the job.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education
  • Relevant work experience from, for example, a municipality, authority, or company with issues related to, for example, economics, business issues, regional development, or administration in a relevant area.
  • Knowledge and experience in handling digital tools and working in digital environments
  • Good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish and English
  • Experience in driving your own tasks or projects
  • Driving license B

The following are meritorious:

  • Education from a university or college
  • Experience in administration
  • Knowledge of business support
  • Experience in understanding and interpreting regulations to carry out assignments
  • Knowledge of logistics, transport systems

As a person, we are looking for someone who is results-oriented and used to working independently towards set goals. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach. You are also good at finding solutions within given frameworks and are stimulated by creating and maintaining contacts with businesses and public actors, as well as thriving in a dynamic work environment.

Employment form and application deadline

The employment is a permanent position. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
