We are now looking for a dedicated midwife for a training position in obstetric ultrasound or a certified ultrasound midwife, who wants to be part of our specialist maternal care team. The specialist maternal care consists of several specialized clinics such as acute specialist maternal care, ultrasound, blood flow, telephone counseling, specialist maternal health care, and more. The largest part of our operations is the ultrasound clinic, where we conduct approximately 13,000 examinations per year, of which about 8,500 are midwife ultrasound examinations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At the specialist maternal care clinic, we strive to continuously develop, and you will play an important role by inspiring and initiating improvement efforts. We all work together towards the goals of the organization and for good care of our patients, where we strive for high standards of quality in our work.

As an ultrasound midwife with us, you will perform obstetric ultrasounds such as first trimester ultrasound/KUB, early ultrasounds, RUL, and growth checks.

The position is combined with placement in another part of the unit, such as the acute obstetric clinic or within inpatient care if desired.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with the right to practice within Swedish healthcare, and who is interested in working with fetal diagnostics or is a certified ultrasound midwife. Knowledge of Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale is required. It is advantageous if you have a KUB license, but it is not a requirement.

In addition to a genuine interest in ultrasound, broad competence, and accuracy, we place great emphasis on personal suitability such as commitment, collaboration, and good interpersonal skills. You are confident in your professional role, flexible, and have good communication skills. We are looking for someone who can work both independently and as part of a team.
