The adult habilitation clinic serves individuals over 18 years old who have permanent disabilities, such as intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and/or movement impairments. The operations are conducted in accordance with the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). We also cater to relatives, staff, and assistants. The work is carried out in an interdisciplinary team together with social workers, speech therapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work as a physiotherapist within habilitation is meaningful and varied. The job includes contacts with patients, relatives, staff, and collaboration. In addition to working with the interdisciplinary team, you will also have many points of contact outside your own organization, for example with the municipality and other community actors. In the role of physiotherapist in habilitation, your tasks include contributing your specific professional expertise in assessment and interventions for patients at an individual or group level. Together with others in the team, you contribute to providing good and safe care for the patient based on a person-centered approach. Furthermore, you will work on guiding staff and prescribing assistive devices.

We work in an interdisciplinary team with colleagues and have administrative support from the unit's secretary. We follow patients in the quality registers CPUP and MMCUP.

For all new employees, there is an introduction program and you will also receive a mentor within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physiotherapist with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have knowledge of the Swedish health and medical care system and language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. To be eligible for the position, you must also be able to swim. We prefer that you are an experienced computer user and have good knowledge of healthcare administrative systems and the Microsoft Office package.

As a person, you are flexible, creative, and development-oriented. Good collaboration and communication skills, as well as flexibility, are important traits since the work involves both teamwork and collaboration with other authorities, organizations, and operations. Personal suitability is highly valued. Experience in habilitation work or working with our target groups is an advantage for the position.
