As we are a smaller department and often collaborate closely between professions, we function like a well-oiled machine in critical situations. We care for patients who require a higher degree of monitoring, which means we have fewer patients but a closer contact and higher presence with each individual than many other facilities. In our work, we also use a lot of medical technology equipment, which I find to be developing, says Rassmus, a nurse in the cardiac intensive care unit.

The medical area at the Central Hospital in Kristianstad is a large, cohesive operation that includes both planned and emergency care. Within the department, we have units in hematology, cardiology, pulmonology, nephrology, gastroenterology, neurology/stroke, endocrinology, and rheumatology. The cardiac intensive care unit and coronary angiography are part of the cardiology section within the medical area at the Central Hospital Kristianstad (CSK).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a nurse with us, you will have varied tasks focusing on specialized medicine within cardiology. Your responsibilities will include caring for critically ill patients, rhythm and EKG interpretation, and handling medical technology equipment.

When you begin with us, we will therefore collaboratively set up a plan for your individual training based on your needs and previous experiences. To promote competence development, we offer both internal and external training on specific tasks. QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have language skills in Swedish that correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Experience in cardiology, medical technology, and emergency care is an advantage but not a requirement.

We are looking for someone who puts the patient's needs at the center and is structured, flexible, and independent. Furthermore, you can take initiative, are meticulous, driven, and can organize and prioritize tasks. It is important that you have a good ability to collaborate with others and that you have a positive attitude towards work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
