The Husie Health Center has approximately 11,600 registered patients and is located in a quiet area of eastern Malmö. We are 45 dedicated employees in various professional roles with a diverse skill set. Currently, we have seven specialist physicians in general medicine, one pediatrician, one cardiology specialist, one licensed physician, three ST physicians, and one BT physician. We also have physiotherapists, social workers, nursing assistants, nurses, as well as diabetes and asthma/COPD nurses who have their own specialist clinics. The health center also includes the Granbacken Child Health Center (BVC), three nursing homes, and 17 LSS housing facilities. At BVC Granbacken, three pediatric nurses work. One of our colleagues who has been with us for many years has chosen to retire, which is why we are looking for a new colleague to join our team. Start date June 1 or by agreement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a pediatric nurse or district nurse to join us!

You will have your own BVC clinic and work with child health care according to the national basic program. Furthermore, you will work preventively with children and families based on the child health care's basic program. Your responsibilities also include telephone counseling, digital services, booking, reception, group activities, home visits, and vaccinations. The position is 100% at BVC Granbacken.

With us, you will be offered regular training in child health care, as well as in other areas relevant to the workplace. You will also receive an introduction tailored to your specific knowledge and experience, with a longer introduction if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. You also have further education as a district nurse or pediatric nurse. Language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are also required. It is an advantage if you have experience working with child health care and/or in the PMO journal system.

To thrive in the role, we see that you prefer a varied job where you have the patient in focus and can quickly adapt when the situation requires it. You also have a positive attitude, a great interest in health-promoting work, and want to develop the operations forward. Additionally, you have a strong commitment, good communication skills, and ease in collaborating. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
