Your Role with Us

The tasks primarily involve providing clients with individually tailored support and developing and maintaining their abilities and communication considering their disabilities. The work also includes supporting clients' participation in leisure and cultural activities as well as in various contexts at the individual, group, and community levels. Furthermore, clients' self-determination and personal integrity must be safeguarded.

The work also includes responsibility for social documentation according to current guidelines and, where applicable, performing medical tasks delegated by a nurse or assisting clients with self-care. In the role of contact person, you are also responsible for ensuring that implementation plans are established, followed up, and updated.

The position includes resource shifts in the schedule, meaning you will work at multiple workplaces.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone with an approved education from the nursing and care program. Experience working with autism, self-harm, psychotic disorders, and intellectual disabilities is an advantage. You need good knowledge in dementia care, the ability to handle clients with challenging behavior, and knowledge/experience of working with low-arousal approaches.

Since the work requires communication and documentation, we expect you to be computer literate and interested in digital tools, and to have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. A driving license for a manual transmission is required.

We are looking for someone with a professional attitude and good collaboration skills. You are resilient, flexible, and find solutions in everyday life. You have the ability to plan and structure work from a holistic perspective, can make independent decisions while also respecting decisions made by others, and can perform work on behalf of others. As a person, you are attentive to the client's needs. You can work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues.

This is Us

Snälltågsvägen is an LSS housing for younger individuals with a dementia diagnosis and/or individuals with cognitive impairments. There are 10 apartments adapted to the needs of the clients. Staff work around the clock to support clients in their daily lives. The staff collaborates closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

The care administration's operations target the elderly and individuals in need of functional support, as well as those requiring home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, national gymnasium, and assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
