Bergkälla Elderly Care is looking for a Physiotherapist
Bergkälla Elderly Care is a rural elderly home surrounded by horse farms and an extensive outdoor area. Bergkälla has 58 apartments distributed over seven units and a cozy courtyard. Here, there are both care places and places for people with dementia, as well as the possibility of cohabitation. From Ropsten, you can reach Bergkälla by bus in just a few minutes.

About the Position
With us, you will have an important and operational role where you work to strengthen our residents' functional ability and independence at Bergkälla and Nytorp elderly homes. The position is divided between Bergkälla Elderly Care in Rotsunda and Nytorp Elderly Care in Sollentuna center, with work two days a week at each residence. As a physiotherapist, you will work to promote health and maintain function among our residents. Your work will largely be in a team together with occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff. You will be responsible for assessments, establishing rehabilitation instructions and training programs, as well as follow-up and evaluation of interventions.
The role also includes prescribing, testing, and following up on assistive devices. Within the framework of your profession, you will guide and educate care staff to ensure good quality in daily work. Examples of tasks include:
- Assessment of function and rehabilitation needs
- Establishing and following up on training programs and rehabilitation interventions
- Prescribing, testing, and following up on assistive devices
- Collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
- Guidance and education of care staff
- Documentation according to applicable routines

The position is a permanent employment of approximately 80% working hours. A probationary period may be applicable. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during daytime.
About You
To succeed in the role, we see that you:
- Are a licensed physiotherapist
- Have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- Have good computer skills
It is an advantage if you have work experience from elderly care.
As a person, you work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You are flexible, collaborative, and find it easy to work with other professional groups. You have a good demeanor and a professional approach in meetings with both residents, relatives, and colleagues. You are clear in your communication and view documentation and communication as important parts of the work.
About the Recruitment Process
