HOME CARE SERVICE
We are looking for individuals interested in working with people suffering from memory disorders (dementia) and/or mental health issues, as we only have such clients in our home care service (the clients are not aggressive or dangerous).
The organization offers three different service arrangements for the summer.

Position for fixed schedule:
Daytime: Rolling four-week schedule at 100% (with every other week being weekend work 37/37). You will have a fixed schedule to follow from approximately June to August. It is also possible to start before June and continue working in the organization after August.
Working hours: 07:30-16:30
Evening: Rolling four-week schedule at 84.12%. You will have a fixed schedule to follow from approximately June to August. It is also possible to start before June and continue working in the organization after August. There are about 19 shifts per month.
Working hours: 15:00-22:00
Book individual shifts: If you are not available for work all summer, you can book individual shifts. A requirement is that you are available for at least 3 shifts per week as our clients need continuity. Depending on available shifts, you can work both day, evening, weekdays, and weekends based on what works for you. It is also possible to start before June and continue working in the organization after August.
Salary: Based on the organization's collective agreement (Almega Vårdföretagarna)
Introduction and supervision
You will receive an introduction before you start working independently, and there is always a team leader present during the day at the organization's premises who can provide you with guidance and support while you work. You will also report continuously during your shift to the team leaders if anything deviates with the client or in the schedule.
To work in the organization, you must:
-have an interest in working with people who have various dementia diseases or mental health issues
-be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, as you will be visiting clients who may have difficulty understanding and speaking, and you will need to document in journals and read instructions.
-be self-sufficient, persistent, patient, stress-resistant, proactive, and creative in your working methods. It is important that you are very social and have an easy time meeting and communicating with people you do not know.
-manage stress and be able to plan and structure your work
-have good local knowledge of inner Stockholm as you will be getting around using public transport or walking. If you are not familiar with Stockholm, you need to feel secure navigating new areas.

Job responsibilities
You will follow a service schedule and visit clients in their own homes to perform the services that have been approved according to the assistance decision. The decision includes, among other things, taking care of general hygiene and personal hygiene, showering, cooking, social interaction, cleaning, laundry, shopping, accompanying clients to various institutions, and walking. We work a lot on motivating clients to enable us to perform the services and use various working methods as tools.
We have team leaders and administrators who staff the office during the day, where you can turn for assistance in your daily work.
Who are we
Stockholm's Dementia and Special Team is a home care company that provides services in clients' own homes. The organization also provides escort services, respite care, and housing support.
We work with the time reporting system Paragå, where employees log in and out from each client visit using mobile phones, NFC tags, and document directly on-site in the client's journal. Paragå monitors logins via GPS.
Where are we located and how do you get around to the clients
We have clients in 8 different districts, and you will start and end your shift from Södermalm, where we have our premises. You will get around to clients using public transport or walking (the organization does not have cars). An SL card is required for this position.
