RG Mekaniska in Bankeryd is now looking for a Production Planner for a temporary position during parental leave. The position is intended to start as soon as possible, but no later than June, and will last until October.

The position is full-time and is suitable for those seeking a qualified assignment for a limited period. The role is also an excellent opportunity for those who are nearing the end of their studies or have recently graduated and want to gain valuable experience in the manufacturing industry.

RG Mekaniska is a subcontractor primarily to the Swedish engineering industry and operates in the local and regional market. We manufacture products in sheet metal and welded steel structures and work with stamping, laser cutting, bending, welding, and assembly. Our customers are in several different market segments, often with their own products.

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning and following up on the company's production. The role includes:

· Planning production orders and customer orders

· Analyzing resources and resource needs from order to delivery to ensure delivery precision

· Optimizing the process flow together with team leaders, detailed planners, and purchasing to minimize lead times

· Coordinating and prioritizing work in production based on given conditions from the marketing department

· Keeping customer responsible informed of any delivery deviations in good time

· Working with daily management as a tool to coordinate the various functions of the business

· Contributing structure and clarity to the operations

We are looking for someone who is analytical, meticulous, and structured, with the ability to see both details and the big picture in the production flow. You work independently and drive your tasks forward, while also being pragmatic and able to make decisions without getting stuck in details. Since the assignment is time-limited, we expect you to be a quick learner and easily adapt to new tasks. The role involves a lot of independent work, but you also need to communicate easily with management, purchasing, marketing, and other functions within the company.

We would like you to have experience in production planning or equivalent work within the manufacturing industry. For those at the beginning of their career, a degree in engineering in logistics, production, or industrial economics is a good foundation for the role.
