Job Advertisement: Nurse for the Emergency Care Unit (AVA) in Ystad
At the Emergency Care Unit (AVA) in Ystad, we work in a team-based and person-centered manner, focusing on acutely ill patients. We are a workgroup with strong and effective collaboration, building a safe and secure care environment for our patients in interdisciplinary teams.
The unit has six emergency care beds for patients with higher care needs. We also have a treatment area where we take over patients from the emergency room for optimization and further treatment. We care for both internal medicine and surgical patients, as well as patients with minor traumas. We provide complex, flexible, and high-tech care and have a constant flow of patients from the emergency department as well as to and from inpatient care and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Our goal is to ensure safe and satisfied patients, more efficient care, better flows, competence development, and a good work environment. We strive to further elevate the level of care by developing our intermediate care. As a first step in this process, we have begun implementing the use of arterial needles, allowing for more advanced and precise monitoring of our patients' health status.
Our team consists of dedicated and reliable employees with a strong work ethic. We value a humble approach and close collaboration within the group, which allows us to effectively identify and optimize care for each patient.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for a nurse to complement our team at the Emergency Care Unit (AVA) in Ystad.
