The hospital in Ystad is an emergency hospital with a wide range of specialized care. It is a smaller hospital with a family atmosphere and good opportunities for participation. We offer healthcare with quality and accessibility, a holistic view, and care as hallmarks. IPV in Ystad currently has three intensive care beds, one intermediate bed, and postoperative care beds staffed around the clock. In the recovery department, there are also ten monitoring places from Monday to Friday, where both children and adults are cared for.

- What is unique about us is that we are a smaller hospital, but we do a lot that gives us broad competence. We have a strong community, and we get to know the staff in other departments as we also have close cooperation. I have not experienced this before in larger hospitals, says intensive care nurse Ted.

Our intensive care has a focus on general intensive care, where we also offer prism treatment in our high-tech environment. We perform surgeries in general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, as well as ear, nose, and throat surgeries. As an intensive care nurse with us, you will also participate in the hospital's alarm chain and be part of the mobile intensive care group (MIG).
