We are a Hospitalist department aiming to care for patients with mixed specialty needs, in close collaboration between the department and a network of specialty-specific physician consultants.

With us, we work with the patient in focus and always start from what the patient themselves wishes through dialogue with the patient and relatives. Our patients are all adults, but with a focus on the multi-sick elderly patient, and they primarily come to us from the Emergency Department and Acute Ward (AVA).

The department has a clear focus on education/development of our staff, often in joint training together with our sister departments. We place great emphasis on the opportunity for reflection and learning in everyday life, and as support in this, we have team supervisors and clinical specialists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome a nurse who wants to be part of our community, who actively develops their own competence and who also wants to contribute to the continued development of the department and the well-being of our patients.

In the clinical work, you will meet a broad and varied patient group. You will work in a team together with nursing and assistant nursing colleagues and collaborate with different specialist areas based on the patient's individual needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who apply are a licensed nurse with permission to work in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. We welcome both newly graduated and experienced nurses.

We value that you have a humble approach towards both patients and colleagues. For a rewarding collaboration, we also see that you are flexible, have good prioritization skills, and can make independent decisions while valuing teamwork. Since we work within an acute operation, we see that you have readiness to act and can change your planning according to how the situation looks. Furthermore, you have good self-awareness, are flexible, and have good collaboration skills.
