We are looking for a housing supporter to join our team at Södra Tibblevägen in Björklinge for the summer of 2026

About Södra Tibblevägen Södra Tibblevägen is a residence for adults covered by LSS, target group 1. The residence is located in Björklinge within walking distance to grocery stores and bus connections with UL to Uppsala. At Södra Tibblevägen's group home, there are about 10 employees with various forms of employment. Our employees have experience and knowledge to work with the target group. They have relevant education in social care, such as care programs or KY education in social care.

About the role In the role of housing supporter, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call shifts.

You will have a group leader or group manager nearby who works part of their time in the operation. This can also be a future career opportunity for you.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in care and social services or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues while always keeping our users' best interests at the forefront of everything you do.
