About us

Our plastic surgery clinic is located at Storängsbotten, Gärdet, and consists of three departments: Reception, Surgery, and Care Unit. Our administrative headquarters is also located here, making the clinic the heart of Akademikliniken.

About the role

As a sterile technician at Akademikliniken, you are responsible for ensuring that our surgical instruments and medical devices are handled according to the highest hygiene and quality standards. You work closely with surgical staff and other colleagues to maintain a safe and secure care environment for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfection of surgical instruments
• Function control, packing, and sterilization of instrument sets
• Documentation and quality assurance according to current guidelines
• Handling and daily control of sterilizers and washer disinfectors
• Inventory management and ordering of sterile materials
• Be a resource in the operating room and assist surgical staff as needed

Qualifications

• Education in sterile technology or a nurse with equivalent experience.
• Experience from a sterile center or surgical operations is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills

About the position

• Part-time, (6-month probationary period applies)
• Working hours: daytime Monday-Thursday
• Start date: According to agreement
