About us

The Forensic Psychiatry in Stockholm provides specialized care for patients from the entire region and has approximately 550 employees distributed across two sections.

Our facilities are located in modern premises at:

• Helix and Karolinska University Hospital in Huddinge
• Löwenströmska Hospital in Upplands Väsby

We care for patients who have been sentenced to forensic psychiatric care at various stages of the care process – from acute phase to discharge and outpatient care.

In our acute and admission department at Helix, where very high security is maintained, we also care for detainees and convicted individuals.

We are looking for you who

• Are a trained nursing assistant
• Are a student
• Have a genuine interest in psychiatric care
• Are stable, responsible, and have good collaboration skills
• Want to contribute with safety and care in patient work

Experience in psychiatry or correctional care is an advantage, and personal suitability is very important.

Summer Substitute

To work as a summer substitute, you need to be able to work at least 6 weeks in a row.

• good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required, in addition to a Swedish professional license. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
