Do you want to lead an organization that makes a real difference – every evening, night, and weekend? We are now looking for an Assistant Unit Manager for our office at Sabbatsberg Hospital who wants to combine secure leadership with close care in people's homes.

About us

Aleris Basal Home Healthcare operates on behalf of healthcare centers when they are closed – evenings, nights, and weekends. We are located in five geographical areas in Stockholm County and are part of Aleris Primary Care, along with ASIH, specialized palliative care departments, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Urgent Care.

Your mission

As an Assistant Unit Manager, you will share leadership with Unit Manager Catharina Modin Nygren. Together, you are responsible for leading, developing, and creating conditions for safe and secure care at home.

You have personnel, results, and work environment responsibility for nursing assistants and nurses. You drive quality work, follow up on our collaborations with healthcare centers, and ensure that the operation develops in line with agreements, budgets, and goals.

In this role, you will work closely with clinical nurses, patient safety nurses, coordinators, staffing administrators, and recruiters. Together, you will create the right conditions for our employees to provide care with quality and compassion.

Here, you will be a present leader – responsible for both people and results.

Our offer

As an employee at Aleris, you will have access to a range of benefits that support you both in your professional and personal life. We strive to create the best possible conditions for you to thrive and develop.

Read more about our benefits here.

With us, you will also receive:

  • A meaningful leadership role where you contribute to safe care at home

  • The opportunity to influence and develop an organization in change

  • Leadership development programs and continuous professional development

  • Support in your leadership and short decision-making paths

  • A culture that encourages engagement, improvement work, and new ideas

We work systematically with quality and patient safety. As a manager, you will have the conditions to grow – and contribute to sustainable care for both patients and employees.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a licensed nurse

  • Has at least four years of experience in a managerial role

  • Has experience in leading work, preferably in home healthcare

  • Is secure in your leadership and creates engagement and participation

  • Has a good understanding of the mission of home healthcare

  • Is structured, decisive, and experienced in leading change

  • Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

  • Has good system skills

You are a leader who listens. You create a work environment where employees feel seen and valued. You combine clarity with care and are driven by developing both people and the organization.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
