Anesthesia, Surgery, and Intensive Care Skellefteå

provides emergency and planned anesthesia and surgical care for adults and children >1 year, postoperative care, intensive care for adults, and sterile technical operations, and we collaborate closely with other clinics within the region. In the Operating Room, we collaborate with General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Ear-Nose-Throat Surgery, Dental Care, and the Eye Clinic, and in the ICU, there is also close collaboration with Geriatric Medicine and the Pediatric Clinic. We have a venous access team with expertise in venous ports, pacemakers, dialysis catheters, and piccline. Additionally, there is a team in the anesthesia clinic that works with pain management.

We work together in interdisciplinary teams to save, improve, and prolong lives. It is a challenging task that we take on together. Working with us is stimulating, educational, and interesting. We are continuously developing and conducting research to provide our patients with safe and good care.

We are now looking for a specialist physician for AnOpIva Skellefteå.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist physician with us, you contribute knowledge and engagement that makes people feel secure.

The work as a specialist physician in anesthesia and intensive care is very varied and requires both broad and high competence. We are a clinic where we support each other and actively work to develop our skills and operations. The work as an anesthesiologist includes work in our operating department, postoperative department, and intensive care unit.

As a specialist physician, you will be involved in operational development and supervision of resident physicians, interns, and other staff categories.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have specialist competence in anesthesiology and intensive care. We see it as an advantage if you have pedagogical experience and scientific merits. In addition to formal qualifications, the applicant must have good judgment, pronounced collaborative skills, the ability to lead and inspire colleagues, and be able to take initiative.

If your qualifications have not been peer-reviewed previously, this must occur before taking office in accordance with the Regulation (1998:1518) on qualifications for certain positions within healthcare.
