Your Responsibilities

Within Umeå Municipality, you will work as a nurse providing health and medical care services, managing medications, documenting, making assessments, and guiding other staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that medical interventions work well for our care recipients and coordinating contacts with doctors and other professionals within primary care and hospitals.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with previous experience, although this is not a requirement. The position requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as basic knowledge of English. It is an advantage if you have specialized training in geriatrics or district nursing.

As a nurse in the municipality, you and your nursing colleagues have the highest medical competence. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy taking responsibility, have good initiative, and contribute to effective communication in collaboration with other professionals. Naturally, you have a good and respectful approach when interacting with care recipients and their relatives.

The job requires you to have a B driver's license. Working hours are scheduled during the day with occasional weekend duties every sixth weekend.

There may be pets and smoking individuals at the workplace, so you should not be allergic. Transfers may occur, but aids are available.

The position is a full-time temporary position, starting as soon as possible by agreement until 2026-09-30.
