The elderly care in Umeå municipality aims to be a resource that liberates and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction.

Prästsjögården care and nursing home has 70 apartments distributed across six units. Prästsjögården is located in the scenic sculpture park in the Umedalen area, inviting outdoor activities in a beautiful environment. Each unit has a large outdoor terrace or balcony that is used as soon as the weather permits.

We are now looking for several nursing staff for long-term temporary positions!

Your tasks

You will assist residents with personal care and, upon delegation from the responsible nurse, perform medical tasks. Your responsibilities also include documenting actions and health status.

You will work based on the assignment as a contact person, where the resident's participation is in focus. This ensures that services are provided with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan.

The positions are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About you

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant or caregiver and/or have experience working in elderly care - but this is not a requirement. It is also positive if you have experience in dementia care.

Your interaction with residents requires good competence based on personal suitability, maturity, and empathetic ability. You demonstrate a strong commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. Personal suitability is highly valued.

To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Heavy lifting occurs, and mobility aids should be used.

Smoking and pets are present in the residence, so you should not be allergic.
