Master Data Specialist – a key role at S:t Eriks!
S:t Eriks has been part of building the society we live in since 1888 – through solutions that shape our cities and make everyday life functional for millions of people. Today, S:t Eriks AB is part of S:t Eriks Group, a leading Swedish manufacturer and supplier of concrete and natural stone products to contractors and retailers in the Nordic market for infrastructure, construction, and landscape architecture.
We are now looking for a Master Data Specialist who wants to take on a central role in the organization, contribute to maintaining complex flows, and thrive in collaborations across the entire organization!
About the role
As a Master Data Specialist, you will have a central role in the company and overall responsibility for item data and structures in our various item systems. You will ensure that the right data is in the right place throughout the value chain – from purchasing and production to marketing and sales. You will also be part of the management group for the business system and drive improvement projects together with internal process owners.
This is a role for you who has a keen sense for processes, structures, and analysis. The role also involves a high degree of networking, collaboration, and communication – you will work with many contact points within the organization, not least our production units in several locations across the country.
You will among other things:
· create, maintain, and ensure the quality of item data in the business system Jeeves
· ensure correct and sustainable process flows
· work with item structures, statuses, and life cycles related to production and assortment
· develop processes for higher data quality across the organization
· be responsible for ensuring that item data functions in adjacent systems such as PIM and FINFO
· collaborate with marketing regarding catalogs, price lists, and product information
· contribute to assortment analyses
You are offered
· a central and long-term specialist role in a market-leading company
· great trust and clear responsibility within your area
· close collaboration with colleagues across the country
· the opportunity to develop structures, processes, and working methods forward
You will be part of a team with six colleagues in Purchasing & Logistics and report to the head of Purchasing & Logistics.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and enjoys working with high quality. You have the ability to see the big picture and how different parts of the value chain are interconnected. At the same time, you are communicative and have an easy time collaborating and building trust within the organization.
You are eager to take the initiative for development and improvement but are also comfortable in a role where consistency, stability, and thoughtfulness are equally important.
You are patient and responsible and stand firm in following processes – even when it requires perseverance. You understand how small changes in data can have significant consequences in the next step and therefore work methodically, carefully, and with a long-term perspective.
Requirements for the position
· relevant higher education (or equivalent, at least 2 years)
· at least two years of experience working in business systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment
· very good system skills and knowledge of Excel
We work in the business system Jeeves, and it is highly meritorious if you have previous experience in Master Data Management.
S:t Eriks is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
