We are now looking for a Booking and Event Manager who wants to help develop MattiasMat.

About the role

As the Event Manager, you will be responsible, together with 3 others, for the entire booking process – from the first customer contact to the completed event and follow-up.

You are the link between the customer, the kitchen, and operations. You plan, structure, and staff – but you are also involved in the execution.

This is a combined role where you:

• Handle incoming bookings for catering, conferences, and events
• Prepare quotes and confirmations
• Ensure clear communication between the customer, kitchen, and operations
• Plan and schedule serving staff
• Lead serving staff at larger events
• Work operationally in our restaurants (lunch, conferences, and events)
• Follow up statistics and initiate activities to strengthen the booking situation

You report to the COO and are an important part of our continued development.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is structured and likes order & tidiness
• Has experience in events, catering, or conference operations
• Is used to customer contact and quote work
• Has leadership experience or is ready to take the next step
• Is comfortable working operationally – even evenings and weekends
• Has good administrative skills
• Is communicative in both spoken and written (Swedish and English)

To succeed in this role, you need to be:

You need to be able to switch between writing quotes in the morning and leading a 200-person event in the evening.
