Your tasks

As a pawnbroker at Sefina, you are an important part of our team and operations. Your main tasks consist of evaluating and pawning valuables such as gold, jewelry, and art. You will also work with customer service, sales, and administration.

In addition, you will participate in preparations for auctions, conduct inventories, and take part in various development projects. The work is varied and dynamic, and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of our journey, contribute to satisfied customers, and be an engaged team player who, together with us, contributes to a positive work environment. As a pawnbroker, you are Sefina's face to the public. You meet customers daily, both digitally and in-store, and handle their valuables with the utmost responsibility, accuracy, and security.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Customer-oriented - you are passionate about customer interactions and always strive for high quality in every contact.
• Business-oriented - you have an understanding of the business and see the big picture in what we do.
• Self-driven - you have experience in retail and take on new tasks and systems with ease.

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience working with valuables and evaluations.
• Experience in roles where AML has been a natural part of the work.

To work in our stores in Gothenburg, you need to have experience and feel comfortable with working alone in a store. You must also be at least 18 years old and have completed your high school education. Since customer service is a central part of the role, experience working in retail, banking, or similar service professions is a requirement. Cash handling experience, good computer skills, and experience with the Office suite are preferred. You must be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and additional language skills are a plus.

Important information about the role

This role is a flexible position between the newly opened store at Gothenburg Central Station and our already established store on Rosenlundsgatan in Gothenburg, which means you may need to work in both stores.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that starts with a 6-month probation period. Working hours follow the store's opening hours and include daytime work as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. Full-time corresponds to 38.5 hours per week. Salary is set individually and is based on experience and competence.
