Licensed Occupational Therapist Wanted

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the home team and primarily work with rehabilitation in the patient's home environment. The work takes place in a smaller geographical area, and there are great opportunities to walk or bike to visits. We also have access to three cars to get around the area.

You will work both individually and in a team together with a physiotherapist or dietitian to ensure good and safe care. In primary care, there is a wide variety of patients' diagnoses and ages, which makes the work both varied and positively challenging.

At the clinic, both group and individual patient visits occur. Our occupational therapists conduct many different assessments, e.g., regarding ADL, work ability, and memory investigations.

Information about the Workplace

PTJ Rehab Hallunda is located near the subway station and has a close collaboration with other rehab clinics within Praktikertjänst, nearby health centers, BVC, BUMM, and the municipality. We have about 25 employees in the unit. Occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, receptionists, clinic assistants, and unit managers all work together to create the best possible care for our patients. The operation offers broad competence in rehabilitation and colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and experience.

Qualifications

You are an engaged and solution-oriented licensed occupational therapist with experience or interest in working in primary care.

Interest or experience in working with patients with impaired cognition, such as in neuropsychiatric disabilities like ADHD and autism, is meritorious.
