Join us at Kolmården and Vildmarkshotellet!

As an employee at Kolmården and Vildmarkshotellet, you play a key role in a magical performance! The park is your stage, the guests your eager audience, and together with your colleagues, you help create unforgettable experiences and enchanting memories for our guests. We are now looking for several positions in Stage & Activity at Kolmården for the summer season of 2026, and we hope to meet you!

Stage & Activity

For Stage & Activity, we are looking for someone who dares to be themselves, is confident on stage, and can build relationships with the audience in one of our roles; actor at Bamseteatern, audience host, or stage artist. A natural part of our team is working inclusively and in line with Parks and Resorts policies and values. Stage & Activity works with experiences, so in addition to your regular role, you may also get extra assignments such as face painting, disco, or mingling character. Kolmården is constantly developing, which means that tasks may vary over time based on the needs of the business. For these positions, you need to be at least 16 years old during 2026.

Actor at Bamseteatern

As an actor at Bamseteatern, you step into the world of fairy tales and portray beloved characters from Bamses Värld and Trollskogen. The work varies – you might be a sidekick on stage, dance at the disco, present shows, or stand in the spotlight during performances and Meet & Greets. You enjoy being on stage, dare to be yourself, and want to give every guest a magical and memorable experience. Stage experience is a plus, but the most important qualities are energy, joy, and good audience interaction. The role is physically demanding and involves light choreography, microphone speaking in Swedish and English, as well as theater rehearsals in the park to refine timing and interaction.

Audience Host

As an audience host, you guide guests to the best seats and create a smooth, memorable experience at our animal shows and performances. During the dolphin show HOPE, we let in 1800 guests in 30 minutes – a fast-paced task for those who enjoy tempo. You are efficient, quick-thinking, and handle large guest flows with a smile. Collaboration skills and good attention to detail are important, as well as creating safety and clarity for our guests. You convey guidelines in a warm and professional manner and are comfortable speaking into a microphone in both Swedish and English.

Useful Information about the Positions

The positions are seasonal employment with varying degrees of employment and extend with varying start dates from March-June to September/late October. Some positions extend throughout the entire work period while others run during the peak season, which is June to August. Working hours are scheduled both during the day, evenings, and weekends and are adapted to the park's opening hours. The degree of employment varies depending on the season; during the pre- and post-season, you work about 25%, and during the peak season, you work about 25-30 hours/week. Salary is applied according to collective agreements. To thrive with us, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and basic knowledge of English, both to speak and understand, in order to deliver world-class service to our international guests. Training, introduction, and rehearsals will take place in connection with the start of employment, so it is important that you are available for training and rehearsals both on weekday evenings (around 4-8 PM) and weekends.

During the summer months when many others are off, we have the most guests with us, so we expect you to both want and be able to work during these months. In short - the more you can work when the park is open, the greater the chance you have to work with us. Even though we close our regular summer season on September 20, 2026, our park transforms for a spooky Halloween just a week later, and then at the end of November, it changes shape again for the magical Sagojul. There are thus great opportunities to extend the season with us all the way to Christmas 2026.

Why Work with Us?

World-class service every time is a challenge. It can be stressful, tough, and patience-testing, we know that. But we also know that when we understand that we can create magic in people's everyday lives and at the same time make friends for life - then it is the world's most fun job! If you are ready to take on this challenge, you will have a completely unforgettable summer, we can promise that. We strongly believe that if we have fun at work, it will show in everything we do - therefore, during the season, we focus on staff activities such as football tournaments, kick-offs, our comprehensive service training, and much more fun!

Selection is ongoing, so please submit your application today! We only accept applications via our website Work with us - Parks and Resorts, not via email.

Are you ready to take on the challenge? Then we eagerly await your application!
