Norrköping Symphony Orchestra is looking for a second concertmaster with a trial period as agreed.

Solo Works

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Violin Concerto No. 4 in D major, movement 1 with cadenza or Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major, movement 1 with cadenza.

And one of the following concertos:

• Ludwig van Beethoven Violin Concerto, movement 1 with cadenza

• Johannes Brahms Violin Concerto, movement 1 with cadenza

• Pyotr Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, movement 1 with cadenza

• Jean Sibelius Violin Concerto, movement 1 with (composer's own) cadenza

Orchestral Excerpts

- Orchestral excerpts will be sent out approximately one month before the audition.

- The audition will also include an ensemble test.

Audition

The audition will take place on May 29-30, 2026, at De Geerhallen, Norrköping.

The audition will occur simultaneously with the audition for the position of principal second violin.

A pianist will be present.
