About the positionWe are looking for a production engineer who wants to work closely with the manufacturing of wiring harnesses for airborne products. The role involves creating and improving production documentation in both 2D and 3D, detailed work descriptions that operators use when building and modifying wiring harnesses. The work ensures that the design requirements are translated into clear instructions and that production has the right conditions to deliver with high quality.
The position offers a work environment close to production, continuous learning, and the opportunity to develop at your own pace. The role is an important part of the chain that contributes to the final product being delivered with precision and reliability.
In daily work, new constructions are combined with changes to existing documentation. The work is done in close dialogue with designers and operators to ensure that requirements, regulations, and technical guidelines are correctly implemented in the documentation.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and update production documentation in 2D and 3D for the construction and modification of wiring harnesses
- Ensure that design requirements and regulations are followed and that information reaches the right functions
- Support both internal and external production with instructions, standards, and technical clarifications
- Develop and improve methodology and working methods for production documentation
- At least a high school technical education, for example in electrical/energy or technology
- Experience in administrative roles
- Swedish and English in spoken and written form
Knowledge of low voltage, experience in wiring harness construction, work as a production engineer, or a background in the defense industry is advantageous. Experience from service professions is also valued, as the role requires good communication and collaboration skills with both operators and office staff.
You are open, curious, and easy to collaborate with. You have a humble working style, can give and receive feedback, and enjoy working in teams. A personal drive and the willingness to learn new things are important, as well as the ability to communicate clearly between different professional groups.
OtherSalary: Fixed monthly salary
Extent: Full-time, permanent
Start: Immediately, considering your possible notice period
Location: Linköping
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
