JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As staff with us, you provide individual and secure care by working closely with the elderly and their relatives, viewing the elderly from a holistic perspective. You will perform certain medical care tasks based on delegation from a nurse and occupational/physiotherapist. As part of your daily work, you will work in our mobile-based operational systems. To succeed in your role with us, it is important that you have good collaboration and initiative skills and take responsibility for driving elderly care of the highest quality. A good approach is crucial.

Teamwork for Good Quality

We work in teams around the user to provide health-promoting care and support of very high quality. Therefore, it is important that you can collaborate well with all professional roles around the user, but it also means that you have secure support from colleagues; both care staff and other professional roles.

The position involves day/evening/weekend work.

This position offers a lot of variation; part of the job will include collaboration shifts, which means that you may sometimes work in Home Care Inland. Of course, there will be planned shadowing beforehand to ensure you feel secure.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a trained care assistant and can present a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare showing that you have the right to use the title. If you are waiting for your certificate, you need to show that you have an approved care assistant education and that you have applied for and are waiting for a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

If you are applying for a position as a care aide, the requirement is that you have a care aide education (equivalent to 800 points) and have passed Swedish 1. If you do not meet the educational requirements for care aide, employment as an assistant may instead be considered.

It is important that you have good computer skills and command Swedish well in both speech and writing. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

To work in Home Care, you need to have a B driver's license.

OTHER

As of July 1, 2023, the title of care assistant is a protected professional title. This means that a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare will be required to use the title of care assistant within health and care.
