Study a Specialist Training and Earn While You Learn!
Region Halland is looking for you who currently work as a nurse and want to develop by furthering your education to become a district nurse.
As a district nurse, you choose a varied and independent job. You collaborate closely with other professionals and work with health-promoting initiatives, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate level of care. You engage in qualified decision-making and counseling, with opportunities to work with your own practice in various areas. As a district nurse, you have the opportunity for continuous professional development and to further develop in your role.
Training Employment
We offer you a training employment, which means you study to become a district nurse while earning a salary and receive a position at a designated health center where you will then work as a qualified district nurse after completing your education.
A training employment can be granted for full-time or part-time study. Distance education is also included as a study form.

Qualifications
To apply for a training employment, you must be a licensed nurse with at least two years of work experience as a nurse within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you must be accepted into the education at an educational institution.
You should be able to work independently and take your own initiatives, have an easy time collaborating, and possess a good ability to work in a team. Furthermore, your interaction with patients and colleagues should be professional.
PLEASE NOTE that most educational institutions have an application period from February 16 to March 16 regarding specialist nurse programs.
